Kennel KARESINDA ABOUT US

I'm forever hooked on the lovely papillon breed. It all started in October 2003:

Mypapillon Berilo was the most adorable dog I and my family had ever met. I very soon found that Berilo deserved a playmate and I soon became the lucky owner of Bella. Berilo and Bella,- who could ever wish for more?!!!

Things often turns out ways never imagined: I was asked to take care of a 7 months old papi-girl, but I could'n. Later, during our holidays in northern Norway, we met this dog, Tingeling: Later that year we bought her too. Now I'm the lucky owner of 6 paps & 2 phalenes.

THE KARESINDA-NAME
As a owner of three papillons, and a never ending wish for one more, I thought of a proper kennel-name. "KARESINDA came too my mind. It means "worthy of a caress". I thought it was a very good name for a kennel and my love for the dogs. Our kennel-name was approved by NKK/FCI in 2004.For us, and for those who'll be the lucky owner of a papillon from us, the kennel-name must be seen as an obligation:

When you go for a Karesinda-dog, you have got a dog we find worthy the utmost caress and love.

SIZE
Papillons & Phalenes appear i various sizes. Many countries follow the more origin standard saying that he dogs could be from 8 to maximum 11 inc. (20-28 cm). FCI now says about 28 (m) and -5 kilos (f). I'm deeply concerned that the About 28 cm-standard will make the little dainty dog "wanish" over time, and that would be nothing but a shame for the 14-and 15. century breeders who possibly strived to procreant the continental little toy spaniel. I want to keep the papillon different from the king charles spaniel: as a dainty little dog.

My ambition is to breed medium to small sized dogs .
